You and I, Salim Rana Vegas, know that life can become overwhelming anytime. When we grow up, a lot of responsibilities change our life in a way that we may even feel like we don’t know how to be kind to yourself anymore.
If you think you’re the only who is living a hard-hitting life, you’re wrong. Every single person has gone through with ups and downs in his life. Someday you’ll get all the happiness and the other day you will lose it. Life is just like that, there’s no reason to steal your sunshine.
No matter how loaded you’re, no matter how hard you try, no matter how famous you are, if you are not in love with yourself, it will hinder your potential, life, and relationship.
I love myself and am always try to positive and optimist in my life. But one month ago, I found myself in that exact spot. Instead of being anxious and negative, I created a list of things that I would like to share with you.
Here are the top 4 ways to be kind to yourself today
Invest In Yourself
What was the last time when you spent at least 30 minutes with yourself? I think you don’t remember. Spending quality time alone helps you know more about yourself. Ask yourself, why am I so harsh on myself?
Spend some time in the evening and morning with reading, listening to music, playing your favorite game and do activities that uplift your mood. Go outside and feel every single thing comes to your way.
Believe In Yourself
When you’re going through the toughest time in your life, the best course of action is to simply believe in yourself. You are strong, powerful and unique. Believe in yourself and you will get all you want to achieve in your life.
Once you start feeling positivity in your life, go outside and scream it as loud as you can so the world can hear your conviction.
Be Kind to Others
The way you treat others is often the way you treat yourself. So, be kind to people you meet in your daily life. Praise your friend and colleague, help someone in need, or motivated a friend of a family member. These acts of kindness will help you feel good about yourself.
You’re unique and special. There is no one like you in the whole world. So, don’t compare you with anybody else. Compare yourself to who you were yesterday. Be like a flower who doesn’t think of competing with a flower next to it. It just blooms.
Before seeing anybody success, take a look at their efforts too. Accept your position and try to be a person better than before. Every person has a different story, comparing yours with them is just wastage of time.
